Polly was in the music room BY HERSELF.
Yo! I felt like sharing music and my general state of mind at this point in my life. Here's hoping this doesn't turn out all fuck-knuckled.

Sufjan Stevens: Dress Looks Nice on You
Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer: When I Go
The Innocence Mission: Tomorrow on the Runway
Howard Shore: The Steward of Gondor
Sheryl Crow: Riverwide
Kermit and Fozzy: Moving Right Along
Faun Fables: I'd Like to Be
The Caesars: Jerk it Out
Ladytron: Runaway
Simon and Garfunkel: Richard Cory
Casiotone for the Painfully Alone: Young Shields
Shiva in Exile: Odysseia
Modest Mouse: March Into the Sea
The Moulettes: The Pirate Song
Noe Venable: Juniper (live)
Dispatch: Flying Horses
Friska Viljor: Oh, Oh
Joanna Newsom: Man's Road (live)

And a Zip file of the whole thing.

WIN. I've been meaning to get Richard Cory for AGES and always forget. :: bookmarks this entry for later when there's actually time to DL ::

Also. Your subject line. Girl, Interrupted?

It's such a catchy song even with the somber subject matter. And yes, that was a GI reference! I didn't expect anyone to catch it, but I shouldn't underestimate your film savvy.

It sounded very familiar, but I probably would've had to ask where it came from if I hadn't started watching Mad Men recently. I had one of those "WHERE DO I KNOW HER FROM?" moments over Elisabeth Moss and I eventually figured out that she was Polly in GI. So it's been on my mind. :D

Oh, nice. I liked most of them and am keeping five for ever and ever. Love S&G and Tracy Grammer, and between "Juniper" and "Eurydice" you've made me a Noe Venable fan. Thanks!

Whoa, you're the first person I've come across who's actually heard of them. And thanks! The art is by Fuko Ueda.
