Some of you f-listers might have seen this before--I posted the beginning in response to a WIP meme, then posted the rest as a response to a handful of prompt_a_day challenges. I'd planned on fleshing it out more, but then I stuck the two pieces together and realized it seemed to read perfectly fine that way. When I'm sleep-deprived, I don't vacillate over things as much. It's pretty cool.
